First off there seems to be a theme with Queens of the Stone age Albums with red covers, 1 moast of the cover is red, 2 Dave Grohl plays drums on the album, 3 wich is the really good part, they are insaily good. This is the album that really got the band out of the underground seen/5().

Songs For The Deaf [LP] Kyuss ends their trio of songs with "Fatso Forgotso Part II" which I the shortest song on the album but arguably one of the best. Then I Queens Of The Stone Age. "If Only Everything" can be found on their self-titled debut, but I personally like this version better. Then comes "Born To Hula", another stand-out track/5(21).

On their third album, Songs for the Deaf, Queens of the Stone Age are so concerned with pleasing themselves with what they play that they don't give a damn for the audience. This extends to the production, with the entire album framed as a broadcast from a left-of-the-dial AM radio station, the sonics compressed so every instrument is flattened/

Songs for the Deaf is the third studio album by American rock band Queens of the Stone Age. It is considered a loose concept album as it takes the listener on a drive from Los Angeles to Joshua.
